BIO:
Born in the Netherlands in 1976, Jouri Smit, performed at will on his imaginary stage in the garage or woods, with fellow pirates or thieves, all the way into puberty. At the age of 21 Jouri Smit decided to roam the earth, to explore himself, those around him and the world. To find his place in it, he found it in the pursuit of the unspoken dream; Acting, Film.

After numerous years of training with Jack Waltzer, Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio, in Paris, London and NYC. And working as an actor in NYC and LA. He felt the desire to tell a story that was important to him, as an artist. He decided to go at it alone. His first attempt to write, direct, and edit all of which are self-taught.
'THE BROTHERS KOWALSKI', sprang out of that desire.

PERSONALITY:
On my travels I came across the word 'Un Artisan du Reve' , until now that is the description that resonates the most. I create, only the form with which I express myself changes.
